Toilet Training Boys And Girls To Start Preschool

Potty training and going back to shcool

School will be starting here in a few days, and I know many parents are happy. However some parents are facing the same problem of getting their child into preschool when they are not completely potty trained.

We have five children who will move into the three-year-old class within the next month and I can say that four are completely potty trained. The fifth child will be potty trained soon and he will move into the three year old class by the time he turns three in September.

I have been encouraging the parents to keep working to get their little darling potty trained. One parent has a child in the three year old class who is still having a few accidents, but he will soon have it down and will be completely potty trained.

I have told the teachers and parents about the methods I have mentioned here and many are finding that these methods really do work.

For the parents who just want to get the potty training done as soon as possible I recommend them to check out Christopher Westra’s book. For the parents who want to take less intense approach I recommend they check out my new course.

Each method is wonderful and allows parents to potty train their child in a way the promotes a fun bonding time with their child. Check out each book and decide which one is right for you and be on your way to having your little darling potty trained by the end of next week.

Get Plenty Of Water For Summer

It is summer time. It’s a time for fun in the sun.

Children love to be outside playing in the sun. They also need to be getting plenty of fluids to drink during these hot summer days.

Parents make sure your child gets plenty of water to drink when they are playing outside. Children can dehydrate quickly and need to be reminded to take a break and get a drink. Water is the best to drink but juices are also good. Juices need to be 100% juice without additives. Carbonated drinks should be avoided.

To know if your child is getting plenty of fluids pay attention to how often he goes to the potty and the color of his urine. If he is only going every two hours or longer and his urine is a dark yellow, chances are he is not getting enough fluids. Pay attention and give your child lots of water.

Whenever you are outside have plenty of water available to drink. This is especially important if you are on the beach or at the lake in a boat. Be careful, have fun in the sun, and drink lots of water.

One more thing, every time your child uses the potty make sure you take him to the kitchen for a cool glass of water.
