"PooPoo" Sucker

Funny Story

Today while I had two of my daycare children at the potty, one of them started telling me that she would get a big sucker from her parents when she learned to poop in the potty. Although many parents give their children rewards for using the potty this became humorous when she informed me that she would get a "poopoo" sucker for pooping in the potty.

I had to control the laughing because she was serious about this discussion. As I know many children say the funniest things especially when they are learning to use the potty, and I thought this was one of the funniest.

What are some of the funny things you have heard your child say about using the potty?

Children Learn What They Live

Children Learn What They Live

If a child lives with criticism, she learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, she learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilt.
If a child lives with tolerance, she learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise, she learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, she learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he or she learns to find love in the world.

What you see is what you give

"The world is a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are. If you are loving, if you are friendly, if you are helpful, the world will prove loving and friendly and helpful to you. The world is what you are."

Thomas Dreier
