When to start potty training
When is the best time to start potty training?
It is up to you and your child when to start. Some say wait until they show signs of readiness while others will say go for it when you are ready to work on it. The readiness signs vary with each and every child. It is okay to at least make it a trial run. As we have all heard at one time or another, "You never know until you try."
What age is best?
There is not a "magical" age to begin potty training. Again, it is up to the parent and child. One person may start as soon as a child begins walking while another may again, wait until the child is showing curiosity with the potty.
What can I do to get started, or at least try?

Everyone kept telling me how their friends friends child was fully potty trained by the age of 1 and that I really needed to get on the ball and get serious about this. I kept telling them that I would do it when he was ready and at that time I just didn't feel that he was ready to set out on the potty train. After a ton of mommy peer pressure I decided to give it a shot despite my better judgment and what happened next was by far the worst few months of my life.
