Potty Training While Traveling

Potty training on vacation

School will soon be out and vacations will begin. For many this year will be something new. You will have a potty training child traveling with you.

You may be thinking, "How am I going to potty train my child while traveling?" It really is not difficult. Some children, however, are afraid of the big potty in public restrooms. Therefore you may want to take a small potty chair along with you.

By having a small potty chair to use, your child may feel more comfortable about going to potty. Your child can use the potty chair at public rest areas, and you will be able to dump it before traveling on down the road. Your child will also be able to use this same potty chair whether you are staying with relatives or staying in a hotel.

To help you feel more comfortable about traveling with a child whom is potty training, check out the book Potty Training in Five Hours by Christopher Westra. This book will help you and your child be well on your way to a fun and diaper free vacation this year.
