Keep Potty Training

Keep it up

There are many different techniques to potty train a child, but in all the techniques I have found that you must stay consistent. Many parents start to potty train their child but get frustrated and allow the child to go back to wearing diapers.

Children need consistency in order to learn what you expect them to do. Once you start to potty train your child you must keep at it. Do not give in to the urge to quit. As the parent you have to encourage your child everyday in everything he does. This encouragement must also be positive.

Children thrive on positive encouragement just as you do. As you potty train your child remember to stay positive even when you want to give up. If your child sees that you are not quitting, he will not quit.

Stay positive, give lots of encouragement, and when you want to give up, step back, take a deep breath, and keep on potty training your child. Remember that children watch what you do and follow your examples. So if you are about to give up, don’t, because your child is watching.
