Potty Training

The greatest feeling a parent can have is the relief when their child has potty trained. No more diapers and more freedom for everyone. But getting there can be a real challenge.

Potty training is best to be started when the child begins to show interest in the potty. This can be wanting their diaper changed after peeing or pooping. The child can also be telling you they need to go or they want to try out the potty.

Allow your child to get used to the potty by just sitting on it. In fact, let it sit in front of the tv when they are watching their favorite show or movie. Give them something to do for entertainment. Once you get them accustomed to the potty then begin to do it on a consistent basis.

It's easier to get a child potty trained when both parents and child are relaxed and enthusiastic about the entire process. The more ready and motivated they are the faster the process can be achieved successfully.
